Wedding in Cartagena, Colombia

Plan Your Wedding In Cartagena With The Best Team

A destination wedding gives you the chance to enjoy the very best of a beautiful location for your special day, creating magical memories, and Cartagena is one of the most beautiful and welcoming you will find.

There are a host of wonderful wedding venues in and around Cartagena, including:

  • Catedral de Cartagena
  • Catedral San Pedro Claver
  • Santo Domingo Church
  • The Sofitel Santa Clara Hotel
  • Blue Apple Beach Club
  • Teatro de Adolfo Mejia
  • Club de Pesca

With a mix of beautiful churches, beach destinations, stunning hotels and more, however you imagined your Cartagena wedding, there is a venue that will bring it to life.

Cartagena is a beautiful city all year round, there is always something new that will add to your day, but when choosing dates, it is worth remembering that July and August are incredibly humid. A wedding on the beach may be fine that time of year, but indoor venues could feel uncomfortable some days. October often sees high levels of rain, so is best avoided for outdoor weddings, and while December and January are a great option for a wonderful holiday wedding, be aware that prices can rise significantly for both venues and accommodation around that time, and the same thing happens over Easter.

Another attraction for Cartagena is that it is part of the route for many cruise ships. However, while it may be possible to fit a wedding in as your cruise ship stops over, make sure you check each cruise itinerary carefully. The last thing you want is to have to abandon a wedding ceremony to get back on a ship, or get left behind by the ship to get married!
